We've just collected two gorgeous baby chinchillas.. they are both boys. One is beige, the last one born but is very confident and is always the first one to the door when it's open, he has quite large ears for the size of him and they're quite fluffy! The other one is grey, the first born, very placid, loves cuddles but is very shy and takes a bit of persuasion to come out of the cage. We don't have any ideas for their names and would like to call them something a little different! Can anyone out there help us?

Reply:Awwwww it's sounds just like my boys. I've had mine for about a year %26amp; half now but got them when they were 7 weeks old....they're twins but not identical (both ebony carriers). To cut along story short I arranged for some star wars characters to be at our wedding as a surprise for hubby as he's a huge Star Wars fan %26amp; he bought me the boys as his wedding pressie to me....so it kind of felt apt to name the boys Yoda %26amp; Chewy. Yoda is very adjile %26amp; the brains of the double act where as Chewy loves to naw at anything wooden %26amp; is the quieter one but the stronger one (bit like sw films really lol)t I've also got 2 budgies named Rum %26amp; Coke.
I suggest you pick two names that are linked but also mean something to you... :-)

Reply:With our kids' pets we used themed names or famous people so Bailey, vodka and tonic were three guinea pigs from the same litter and Bamber and Gascoigne where two cats. Natasha and Kaplinsky are my favourites for the next pair of pets we get but maybe Bamber and Gascoigne would work for your boy chinchillas. Have a peaceful Xmas
