Names? Baby Girl! I need help! Katherine must be in the name!?
I like them in this order:





Jenna Katherine (definitely the best!!! There are so many cute nns plus this name is lovely for a grown and vibrant adult woman)





Patricia Katherine (classic and Patricia is hardly ever used anymore making the name common %26amp; unusual at the same time--works really well for a child or adult)





Virginia Katherine (Ginnie is such a cute nn!--works really well for a child or adult)





Katherine Jane (another classic but rather boring)





Ellisse Katherine (I really don't like the sound or the spelling. If this is the chosen name, I'd definitely go with Katherine Ellisse as it sounds better. It also eliminates the non-traditional spelling for a first name which can lead to all manner of complications)

I love the name Kate. I like Ellisse as a middle name because I love the tradition of having one of the names being named after someone. But since Katherine is already a name from someone special your middle name can be anything that sounds nice with Katherine. Or since Katherine is a very traditional name, maybe pick something a little different like Katherine Kai or something.... I don't know... Hope this helps :)

And you can change the spelling of a name even if you are naming the baby after someone. It is still an honor. So, if you liked the spelling Elyse or Alyse better, you could go with that and it would still be honoring.

If you don't *have* to use Katherine, you could always try Kate as a middle name.





But in my opinion, Katherine just sounds better as the first name, not the middle name.
