Baby Names..!?

Hello. My name is Margaret Hall however most people call me Maggie.. My husbands name is Max.


We have been married about 2 years and i'm pregnant with our first children..they're twins.


I am about 8 months and we are having a girl and a boy.





I am not into the whole "twin names" thing.


I feel they are two seprate people and shouldn't have to have almost the same name..


(for example-Alex and Ally)

I totally agree with your wanting two separate name identities for your children!





I lovelovelove Brionna Rochelle. Lauren Elizabeth is beautiful too! (I may be biased because of my name, haha)





As far as boys names goes, I like Joshua James the most. I think JJ would be really cute as a nickname! Johnathan Daniel is very nice too.
Reply:--Well, i have always loved the combo Hannah Lea, Lauren Elizabeth, Annabella Rose, for a girl. I have also loved the name Isabella and Shae (pronounced Shay with a long a)





-- For a guy i love the name Alec but not so much Jordon, not really a nice name for a boy-maybe a girl in my opinion-. Maybe Alec Davis.


I also have loved the name Nathaniel ever since i babysat this little boy and we called him Nate.

I agree when you say you dont like the whole "twin names". i really like the names from your list! my favorites from the girls list is Alexis Maria, Lauren Elizabeth, and Alison Elizabeth! Lauren Elizabeth is cute, too. Plus, Corey and Lauren sound good together because of the 'or' sounds, but they still don't sound too twinny.

what about working Orion into the names?
Reply:As a third time mother I offer you this advice...whatever name you name the kids, make sure you love it because you're going to be saying it...a lot. Be sure the first and middle names go well together and you can yell them and have it sound harmonious (that Terrible Twos thing really tests the flow of the first, middle and last name).





Looking at your list I can see Marley Kay and Johnathan Daniel working out well as good names for normal conversations as well as for hollering...you know, when you need to.





;) Best wishes and just know that whatever you name them, once they have those names you'll never wonder if it was the wrong decision. Congrats on your upcoming sweeties!
