What are your thoughts on a baby girl name?

My husband and I are stumped on a baby girl name. We have a 15 month old son named Finnegan (Finn). Here are the names that we are currently considering:





Caroline


Marin


Emery


Piper


Anna





We have already decided on a middle name- Therese- after my mother.





Any input would be greatly appreciated- Thanks so much!

i love the name Emery





best way to decide is to stand at the bottom of the stairs and scream the name. Which ever name you like best will be the chosen one

marin is very cool and unique. it sounds a little strange to me but thats just becuase marin is a city near where i live





emery is really cool! ive never heard it before, but wait, thats a city near where i live too! lol. i c where you got your inspiration.





piper is cute, but i can imagine an adult named piper





anna is nice, but a little plain





my favorite name is celia.or celie.
Reply:I like Anna Therese it is very pretty my family is adopting a little girl and her name might be Anna Ryen so I really like the name Anna. Piper is a cute name but not with Therese same with the other ones although Caroline Therese is kind of pretty I think you did a good job for girl names and for Finnegan.
Reply:I like Piper or Caroline the best. Piper is a lively, fun name- and Caroline has a sophisticated ring to it.





Anna is great too- but pretty common. Marin is a good name too- I actually know of a Marin. I don't like Emery- sounds like an emery board.
Reply:Oh my gosh!!! Piper is one of my favorite names. Very Sarah Palin-ish. Yes, I know, *gasp*, Sarah Palin!... but you have to admit that her kids names are wonderful.





Piper Theresa would sound wonderful. Same with Emery or Anna... actually, i love them all.

Reply:I only know one Marin and I think it is a great name! I don't care for Emery and Anna. Caroline is cute but kind of ordinary. I also like Piper. I vote for Marin or Piper! Great choices!

Anna is too common. Piper is too trendy. Emery is a boy name.
